I picked up a 2006 American Telecaster last week. It has a rosewood fingerboard, the finish is (my guess) vintage white (it has an odd color - could be what I've heard is butterscotch) and of course the "60 dime" on the back of the headstock. It was a great grab. I've always wanted a blonde Telecaster (I have a number of Strats) - this one is mint no scratches or dents. Pretty happy about it.
The guitar has some fret buzz at about the 6-7th frets so I'm looking to run through the setup.
Can anyone tell me what the neck radius of this guitar is? I don't see a lot of information about it on the internet.

the fingerboard radius on this guitar should be 9.5. I think that's pretty well the default standard for most Fender's this day and age. Vintage ones, from the '50's up through the '70's were 7.25 and I don't know exactly when they changed it, but I know most of them today, including the American Standard series, are 9.5.

There are a few guitars that have different fretboard radii. Most of the American Vintage series and MIM Classic Series have vintage (7.25) radii and the American Deluxe series generally has a compound radius, something like 9.5 at the nut and 12" at the 12th fret or something to that effect. Not sure about the exact numbers. Certain other guitars like the Deluxe Players Strat have a 12" radius.

You may already know this, but the fretboard radius is the measurement of the curvature of the fingerboard, not the radius of the neck itself. The larger the number, the flatter the fretboard.

Is the buzzing coming through the amp? I would tend to leave it if it's not coming through the amp as I think that buzzing on guitars can be quite a common thing.

I'm quite a light pick. While I can handle low action I've found that the nicest feel is not found at the lightest touch. I check and (if need be) adjust my Strats a couple of times a year and am comfortable doing so. I haven't tried the Tele through an amp yet - I've had it for over a week. Fenders (unlike Gibson) have a gorgeous feel without an amp. For myself I've found that setting the touch to factory specs is usually fine.
When I got the instrument it had 10s on it for strings - I changed them for 9s. My guess is that the previous owner (who likely never played it) had played with the touch for the 10s.
As the radius determines the setup I needed to know this.
Thank you all for your kind and helpful input...

Buzz at 6-7? Remove or loosen the 2 or 3 strings affected, Put a good 2' level on the frets. You might have a high fret or 2 or need a truss rod adjustment
