I am looking to purchase a Blacktop HH, just wanted to get any input, I would like to buy a higher end guitar, but this has caught my eye. Just wondering why it would be cheaper than a MIM tele too. Any input would be great.

Don't know why they are a little cheaper but they are nice guitars.
Got mine about two weeks ago and haven't played my other guitar since then.
It needed going over as far as setup but it sounds and plays great.
The cool thing about these is you can mod it any way you want and still don't have a fortune in it. So far I've changed the pickgaurd and put regular Tele control knobs on.
Standard Tele parts fit just fine and there are alot of options out there.
The only negative I can see is that the low E string sounds a little muddy but that might require a pup change sometime in the future. I had to wait three months after I ordered it but they seem to be in stock now at all the big guitar stores.
My opinion is- Go for it.

Blacktop tele is my go to guitar. It just works for me. I have more expensive ones but this one feels right.

get it man, even though they have humbuckers you'd think they produce a mid-y type sound, but you can really get the classic tele tone out of em. i have no clue why there price is in the hundred's, it sounds like its worth $3000
