Hello Fender Friends,
I have a 72 Thinline Reissue. I want to replace the stock tuners for the Fender locking tuners. Can I swap them out or do they need to be drilled out. It was a perfect match for my Standard Strat. Will they work for my Tele? Thanks!!!!!

No, unfortuntately you will have to do some drilling on the '72 RI Tele. There isn't any tuner out there that is a direct replacement for those "F" tuners. The closest you will likely come is to put in some type of Kluson-style tuner; if you want locking tuners I know Gotoh makes a locking Kluson-style.
