I think most people would say the MIJ are better.
The MIM are also very well made.

That's a very broad question, but I would say the one that is better is the one that feels best to you.

I have owned both.....the Mexican standard models aren't quite up there with the Japan made Fenders of 15 years ago.....but anything that Mexico makes above the standard line is completely comparable in quality to any Japanese Fender :)

Depends. If you had to make me choose between a MIM Baja Tele and a MIJ 52 reissue I wouldn't know what to do.

The Sushi fenders have a better reputation than the Taco fenders......I have a friend that has been playing and touring for 15 years and he is using this e series $@! and swears by it.
