Well, after a little research I now know this guitar was only made in this particular configuration in 2004. vintage body style but, with a chambered ash body in crimson with lacquered finish as opposed to a poly finish of one kind or another. This is what has been confirmed by (Jeremy) from Fender. What I was told by the person I bought it from and also told the same info from a totally different source who also happen to have one is that these guitars were built for the 2004 namm show. Only 100 were made. Anyway it's a very sweet guitar that plays amazing. I bought it to do a particular project and really don't need it anymore as I'm basically an acoustic player. I've owned this guitar 5 years and have put less than 10 hours playing time on it. The guitar has the usual swirl marks on the p/g but other than that is very clean. Frets and fretboard are almost like new and I can only find one small light scratch on the back that is so small I can't even get a picture of it. I was also told these guitars while not (custom) guitars per say went through the custom shop for a final check before being released. This I can't verify but was told this by two different gentlemen who own this particular model. Anyway, for who might be interested I'm going to sell this guitar on E-bay probably starting on Sunday 03/06/11. Oh and by the way the neck on this guitar is also perfect with no blemishes at all. If you might be interested check it out and check my feedback on E-bay and you'll see the guitars I have sold in the past few years got rave reviews from the buyers. I'm not a store just a guy who loves guitars and moves a few every once in awhile. As you will see I DO NOT sell junk and I have more than 1 happy customer to prove it. Also when I list this guitar, if it's not as described I'll gladly take it back. I have no fears in this area though as this is one very sweet tele. Thanks for reading this. I know it's long but I really do want my guitar to find another loving home. Might sound silly but to me my guitars are almost like very close friends or dare I say it, family. And of course this guitar (along with all my guitars) has always been maintained in my temperature and humidity controlled music room. Also these guitars never leave my house! I have a couple less expensive guitars I use when playing at a friends house or anytime I have to take a guitar out into the elements. Thanks for reading this if you’re still with me here.

Drake, would you kindly post a picture of this guitar
Would you also post your Ebay link for this guitar that you claim was sold on 03/06/11
On the evening of 03/06/2011, I could not find this guitar on Ebay
This guitar continues to fail to show up on Google.
Recently sold items should come up on Google, particularly a unique item such as a "2004 NAMM Telecaster."
Was this a real Ebay sale or just BS???

Please prove me wrong Drake52.
