Ummm, dude, that post was like walking onto a car lot, and the salesman going "Ohhh, forget these cars, we've got hovercars from the future out the back, but you're not allowed to see them" :P .

Can't be all tempting like that and NOT show us some pics of the body atleast :D

I had to ship the bender out to KNE in California so it will be a few weeks before the body even makes it back here(with Parsons/Green)

I was looking into P/G benders and found on on e-bay. Just the bender I bought it and at the same time bought a tele style guitar not a great guitar but brand new about 175.00 for the guitar and 308.00 for the bender. I am a good finish carpenter and I made the Plexiglas pattern and set up my plunge router and drill press. It turned out perfect and I did not remove the neck. I was concerned to see with all the plowing I would scratch he body. Not a mark on it. The reason I did this project is to do the install for others I did a add on craigslist but no response. If you have any questions about the install I may be of some help. I do a lot of hi end locks on doors so the bender was fun and fast. P/G shows how to build a router box to hold the body. I did the hold down with dbl back tape kind if thick stuff I got at the wal mart. There is no wiggle if you use about 10 small pieces to hold down the template. Well I found a 2000 USA Nashville bender it was on e bay and some one had taken out the bender so I bought it. I did not get another bender I took out the one I had and it was a perfect match every screw lined up perfect. I am not a bender nut but it is fun to play around with it. I have never had a good guitar and now I do. Horton

I couldn't figure out why NO ONE offers to route for the Parsons/Green(which is easier). Bill Renner turned me on to KNE so I contacted them and they offered to route it since they are building my body, along with a few custom touches. Actually, Mitch @ KNE was the only person I found who would offer up a double bound body and route for the P/G...also he gladly kept the smooth radius where the output jack is instead of the hideous flat spot that EVERY company keeps duplicating. We discussed a few other ideas including LH pickup route on a RH guitar.

How much is the prep work hobbyist. I installed the one on the tele knock off. When I got my Nashville USA B bender I looked at the router work and compared it to my Plexiglass template. There were a couple of depth differences from the recommended depth from P/g. But just slightly. I might have time to make the router temps for someone and the info of the router guide bushing req. Someone can turn a telecaster into a B bender for about 335.00. It depends on the skill level the tools are only as good as the hand there in. Horton

Well, The P/G arrived today. Now I gotta ship it out to Mitch in Cali. I've routed teles in the past for a P/W. Currently in talks with a couple of other guys and maybe going into the install business.
