Recently, I read online where the 2011 Telebration 60th anniversary Vintage Hot Rod '52 Tele will use a full Seymour Duncan Humbucker for the neck pickup in place of the Seymour Duncan mini humbucker. I have two questions; 1) is this true?, and 2) if true, will the 2011 standard production '52 Hot Rod incorporate the full size humbucker in place of the mini humbucker as well?

Thanks for the clarification!

Regards,

Greg

In addition to the full-sized neck humbucker, the Hot-Rodded American Vintage '52 Telecaster has now a new brass bar bridge design that is 100% intonatable.

Only the 60th Anniversary '52 AVHR can benefit from the full-size chrome-covered humbucker and the new intonatable 3-saddle bridge. Regular production versions still continue using the mini humbucker and the non-intonatable bridge - unless you order a Custom Shop FSR version of the guitar having the new features.

Another idea is to release a matching FSR AVHR '57 Stratocaster with a full-sized Tone Zone humbucker in the bridge along with the already mentioned FSR AVHR '52 Telecaster. But they're just thoughts...
