Hi there, and welcome to the forum! :)

Just a short info on how to get pics into your post!
I'd create an account at photobucket.com or some other hosting service. There you upload the pictures.
You can embedd pictures if you paste links into the message you're creating, then highlight the link and press on the "Img"-button at the top of the menu.

Or, and even easier, you can trigger an already formatted link of the desired image straight from photobucket, and simply paste it into the message.

Photos will tell the story, but from the info provided it is likely an American Series Tele from 2003 - from the serial number "Z3" - "Z" is for "zeros" (i.e. 200X) and the "3" makes it 2003. I'm also assuming you are saying "Corona Telecaster" because the neck plate says "Fender Corona California" which are only found on American Series/"new" American Standard and American Deluxe models.

Actually it is an American Series Tele (the "American Series" replaced the "American Standard" in July 2000; when Fender did the latest round of updates to the model in January 2008 they also brought back the name "American Standard"). To be even more specific it isn't a "regular" American Series Tele, it is the "American Series Ash Tele", also known as model #8502 - this guitar essentially adds some of the features of the AV '52 Tele to the American Series - ash body, maple fingerboard only, "U" shaped neck (instead of "C" shaped neck), the round string tree and pickups that are wound to be more similar to the AV '52 Tele. Not many of these are around; it is a very cool side model that was only made from about 2002 through 2006.

To your other question - an American Deluxe Tele will have some type of noiseless pickups (that varies per the year); also from 1998 through 2009 the serial number started with a "D", so a 2003 American Deluxe would have a serial number that reads "DZ3XXXXXX". There have been 3 different American Deluxe generations:

V1 (1998-2003) - have Fender "Vintage Noiseless" pickups (the bridge pickup will have "Noiseless" written in gold script on the bobbin) - 1998 models are "Nashville" Teles and have a Strat pickup in the middle position (and a 5-way switch plus a mini-toggle to add the neck and bridge pickups together in positions 1 and 5); by 1999 the middle pickup was gone and it was back to a 3-way. All V1 Am Dlx Teles have a back contour like a Strat and a bound top; alder body on some colors; ash on others; and all have abalone dots and all have a chrome headstock decal. Some colors have an aged pickguard, some have a tortoise shell pickguard. An "American Deluxe Power Tele" was made in 1999 and 2000; it had a Fishman peizo bridge.

V2 (2004-2009) - now have "SCN" pickups (the bridge pickup will have the raised letters "SCN" on the bobbin) and they now have an S-1 switch (push button in the volume knob that changes the middle position from series to parallel). Alder bodied models still have the back contour and bound top, and abalone dots. The alder body model now has a contoured neck heel. Still has abalone dots and chrome headstock decal.

V2 Ash (2004-2009) - ash body, no contours, maple fingerboard only, and regular headstock decal. Other features are the same.

V3 (2010-present) - now have "N3" pickups (the bridge pickup will have the letters "N3" in silver on the bobbin), still have the S-1 switch (push button in the volume knob that changes the middle position from series to parallel). Alder bodied models still have the back contour and bound top, but now have regular pearl dots on the rosewood fingerboards and black pearl dots on the maple fingerboards. The alder body model now has a contoured neck heel. Still has chrome headstock decal.

V3 Ash (2010-present) - ash body, no contours, maple fingerboard only, and regular headstock decal. Other features are the same.

More info that you probably wanted but hope that helps.

It's either an American Fat Tele or a Tele SH depending on the year. They were "Fat Teles" from mid-2000 up until some time in mid-late 2003; after that they became the "Tele SH". At that time they changed the humbucker pickup and eventually added the S-1 switch to it (although the switch might have been added in early 2004). They were discontinued circa 2006/2007 so not much left up on the web.

I would send you serial number to Fender's Consumer Relations team (consumerrelations@fender.com) and see if they can turn up anything on the guitar for you. Based on the color I'm thinking it is the later model - does it have a Z3XXXXXX or later serial number?

If it's a Z2 number it could be an "Fat Tele" then - if I'm remembering correctly the only difference is the 2000-2003 Fat Teles used the Fender DH-1 humbucker in the neck position and the later SH Teles used some other Fender humbucker and had the S-1 switch.

These are the times I wish I hadn't thrown out all those old Fender Frontlines I had piled up in the bottom of the closet.

The earlier Tele SH and HH used Atomic humbucking pickups, lacking off pickguards and S-1 switch. Later versions featured a 1-ply black vinyl pickguard (changed to a 3-ply parchment in 2005), Enforcer humbuckers and S-1 switch.

The bridge humbucker has a ferocious, growling attitude while the neck pickup produces smooth, round tones.
