I am building a replica of a 62 telecaster for a friend of mine for his birthday and he had shown me a picture of one with binding or inlay around the edges. I know the Stewart catalog sells it, not sure where it is in there and does anyone know how I can pull up a picture of it again. Thanks from a non guitar playing person Gary

You mean around the neck, as in neck binding?

When is his birthday? That may be a factor in how your doing the project. Are you building this from scratch?, using pre-made parts? Allowing for a finish to dry properly may take 2-4 weeks. If your looking for aftermarket bodies look at EBAY, www.warmoth.com or search the net. There are plenty of them out there. If your looking to build it from scratch go to www.stewmac.com ,that might be a good starting point. The only Stewart or Stuart I can think of would be Fred Stuart that used to work for Fender in the Custom Shop. Good luck!
