I, personally am not much of a Tele guy, but I think that there should definitely be more signature Telecaster models. The amount of Strats greatly outwys the number of Teles.

I agree, they need a Black Clapton Tele, like he recorded 461 Ocean Blvd with.

I'm a Strat guy, but I'd like to see Teles make a Comeback.

They'd be nice to look at or play in the store, but one of my problems with signature stuff is the price...

There are signature Teles. You just have to find them, some are Japanese Models. Here are some examples:
