I just bought a blacktop tele and it features a neck and bridge humbucker, the sound quality is not that bad considering the price, however I am planning to change the pickups with more treble and attitude, could anyone please suggest what pickup should i use for this. cheers!

Hi there.
First off, welcome to the asylum here.

It would be helpful to know what type of tone/music you play and are going for.
I would like to know this before I make a suggestion.

yes it would be more helpful if you name your style of music. i however love the sound of the blacktop tele pickup, just let it grow on you for a while and decide then :)

One other important question which is overlooked....what amp and what pedals if any are you going through? That is a huge part of the signal path that most guys overlook.
ABS :D

i would like to avoid the use of multiple pedals other than my reverb and delay, i prefer the crunch coming out from my AVT100 (marshall).i like it simple. :?

Maybe Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates - - they are pretty famous for their attitude...

Do yourself a favour and find a Seymour Duncan JB Custom.

Will give you exactly what you are describing.

I know, I have one.

Cheers.

I'm thinking of getting a BT tele and coil tapping both pups to get a little treble and jangle from them. Maybe you can try that before you swap em out.

Okay, then I would suggest a Pearly gate in the bridge and a JB in the neck.

^ I think that a JB in the bridge and a PG in the neck would work better...

To the OP:

pickups with more treble and attitude

With all the suggestions above the best way to get more treble and attitude is to put a Tele pickup in the bridge of the guitar. I mean, treble and attitude is what Tele pickups do...
