Post subject: mim tele bridge covers?

i looked about the net for a while but couldnt really find a trust worthy answer to the question of where to find a bridge cover for a mim standard tele? i only see the vintage tele ones...do they even make them for my guitar?

I don't think those bridge plates have the lip to support the
ash tray bridge covers, do they? :?:

+1 The MIMs do not have the lip you need to hold the ashtray on. But....from what I have seen some folks swap out the bridge with a Glendale and are able to add the ash tray after that mod.

what is the cheapest way i could get a bridge to put a cover on? just get a bridge plate or the whole bridge? what kind of bridge? i saw some on ebay that look ok. any suggestions?
