Hello all.

I'm living a dilema. Maybe you can help me.
On my Tele, I have a SC in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge. Can I modify my wiring for two volumes, using a 250k pot for the single coil and a 500k pot for the humbucker? Is there any problem?

since now, thank you.

i wouldn't think so. I threw a 250K pot on my bridge volume and a 500K on the neck volume in my LP Goldtop with some orange caps and it sounds oh so crunchy :)

Far as I know Slash mixes up pots too

Thank you Papa-J.
Yes, in my head it would work perfectly, but we have two diferent situations, in gibsons we have two volumes and two tones and in my tele I'll have only two volume pots (and in some times they will be directly connected).
I think that the wiring on gibsons are slightly different. So I got your point of veiw, and I think the same, but I'm not sure about it.

Does anyone know?

Found this one on the Tele forums, maybe it will help if you read through it.

Hello Again Papa-J.

So, I already have been read that post, and it gave me a certain light,
but he is talking about mixing pots with diferente values in a wiring with tone and volume control.

TDPI is a great site indeed. And I made the same question there.

Thank you again man.

hehe I'm eventually going to get this, or keep trying till someone else chimes in.

ok found a guy that did his 'Tele with a 250K on the Single coil neck and 500K and the Humbucker bridge. said he had no issues and is pleased with the outcome.

is this what you wanted?

he did it as follows:
