I bought a '72 Telecaster Custom and it's missing a knob. Does anyone know where I can get replacement knob? I've tried Musician's Friend, StewMac, Guitar Center... but they all have knobs that SAY they are for a '72 Telecaster Custom, but they really are not. The knobs that they have are designed for a knurled, split pot post, where as my Tele has a solid post designed for a knob with a set screw.

I`ve seen Tele knobs on ebay. See if they have the ones your looking for.
