Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page are two that come to mind for me. I know both are known for using other guitars, but a decent amount of stuff was done by both on Tele's through the years.

Ah ya... That dude had the sweetest gig on SNL. Gettin paid just to jam out tunes, meet every host and band that came through (jammin with eddie), kick back and play music without the hassle of a traveling band. Don't know much about his other persuits, but I often dreamed about what that job must have been like.

He also played lead guitar for Hall and Oats and toured with Bob Dylan if I'm not mistaken. You're right...the SNL gig had to be the best though.

Waylon Jennings, chicken pickin' extraordinaire.

Doesn't Billy Gibbons play a Tele at times?

I don't disagree with anyones choices above but for me iots

Keef

Rich Robinson

And for my money MARC FORD. He gets the warmest tones out of a Tele that I have ever heard.

B-Bender Master of the Telecaster! He doesn't get enough credit for his work.

IMO, the true TeleMasters: Mr. Danny Gatton & The ever fabulous Mr. Roy Buchanan, may they both be playing loud in the heavens for the Tele Gods. And when I get there, maybe they'll let me play along. 8)
