I know how that feels, Snowy. I grew up in northern Illinois where the winters were brutal. That yellow ball in the sky was just a rumor sometimes until April or May.

Contrast that with the Arizona desert. We had a week of winter between Christmas and New Years and we'll probably get another week or two of it in January or February. I can live with that. :)

BTW, getting back to guitars... love your Candy Cola and Candy Apple Red Teles.

Yeah I got an Olympic White American Special a year ago and I love it more and more everytime I play it.

Fender has never released an American Special Tele HS with a chrome-covered Enforcer humbucker in the neck to complement the American Special Strat HSS.

A simple pick guard swap can really make a huge difference in the look of any guitar. I've seen one floating around the internet with a tortoise guard, that one looks amazing too!
