I craved a Tele since I was in high school and had Telecasters as my "weakness" or favourite things in my year book.My wife made my dream come true finally 4 Christmases ago with a beautiful MIM Midnight Wine Tele.I can understand you being excited about getting one.

I'm not sure......it's a dark red with a maple fretboard.
Lord willing......I'm gonna get me a pearloid pickguard.......that'd set it off!

Thanks. I`ve had 5 Teles in the past 1 1/2 years and sold them all upgrading every time until I got the one pictured in the above post. But this one I`m keeping and the contoured Strat style body makes it even that much better. This guitar sounds great plugged into my Blues Jr.

The color of your guitar then is midnight wine, considering it is a standard.

Guys (& girls?) Count me in on the Tele club too. I just bought a Classic Player Baja Tele last Friday. Been playing an Amer. Strat but have been lusting for a Tele for a while. This baby has the soft V neck which I really like and the S-1 and 4 position pickup selector. Too many wonderful options for my little brain. JPD - I am also playing it through a Blues Jr. (I grew up in Queens) Absolutely love the tone and playability.

Color is Desert Sand w/ white one ply pickguard. :D :D :D

Just when I went to the Forum to tell everyone, they shut it down. Glad to be back and running.

Hi Cambo..I`ve had a few Strats and Teles but the Tele I have now I`m keeping. Its a beautiful guitar and I`m really enjoying it and I`m sure you`ll enjoy your new Baja Tele too so good luck with it.

Congrats on the new axe! A great Christmas present for yourself. It is amazing what a rush a new guitar can provide and the Teles certainly have a unique sound.

Just remember to take a break to eat. :D
