Hi
I purchased this 2005 Tele Deluxe with twin Humbuckers and cannot find any information on it other than it was made at the Corona factory.
Sorry but I cannot figure out how to insert the photo of it. What makes it odd is that it has the standard Tele two knob control with three way slider switch.

You need to have your photos on some type of hosting service like Photobucket; then you can post them up. Click the "Img" button once, copy the photo URL, then hit the "Img" button again to get it to post.

Fender did make a Tele HH from 2003-2005; it was an American Series with 2 humbuckers and a standard control plate. One year didn't have a pickguard (I think that was 2003); the others have a typical Tele pickguard. It should have an S1 switch in the volume knob as well.

If you can get the photos up it would be helpful.

Thanks for the info. Any thoughts on what it sold for in the day?

Thanks for posting the photos. Yes, that is the American Tele HH from circa 2003-2005; since it has a pickguard it is probably from 2004 or 2005. Check your serial number; while not exact if it starts with "Z3" it would be a 2003, "Z4" would be a 2004, etc. I can see the S1 switch in the volume knob.

Regarding the pricing, I believe these went for about $50-$100 more than the basic American Series Tele back then, so they probably had a street price of $800-$950 (I'm thinking that a regular American Series Tele in 2003-2005 was in the $750-$800 range).

The first Tele HS/HH didn't had the pickguard and lacked of an S-1 switch. Fender added a 1-ply black vinyl pickguard in 2004 and around late 2005/early 2006 the pickguard changed from 1-ply black vinyl to 3-ply parchment/black/parchment.

The HH featured two Enforcer humbuckers, a neck pickup having a very smooth character which complement the fierce, growling bite and snarl in the bridge position.

These Enforcer humbucking beasts were gone in 2007.
