Hi, For Slide playing, should I fit a raised nut to my Tele as I've
done to my Resonator?
Also, playing Electric Blues Slide, are light slides generally used?
I have a light Glass slide, would that be suitable?
Any feedback appreciated as this is a new area for me. :D

I'm by no means an authority on the topic of slide playing but I think you can use just about any slide you want, glass, metal, heavy, light; if it slides it'll do.

I have not raised the nut, but I did raise the action a little bit on my Tele. I also switched to .012 strings (up from .010). I usually use a flared brass slide, I think it's a "Preachin Pipe" by Dunlop. (I use a Big Heart bottleneck on my Fender resonator). I prefer heavier slides to light ones, but what ever feels comfortable to you is the right thing! Keep on slidin.

There are many slides made out of many different materials. The most popular in the 60's and 70's was Coricidin (sp) Bottles. While it is hard to find the original bottles any more, there are some clones that can be found.
