I'm looking on throwing a new pick-up in my 09 american std tele. I'm thinking on some type of p-90 or a humbucker. Something to fatten the neck some a bit and work good with the stock bridge. Does anyone have any idea's? Anything any one has put in or tried in the past that they like? Just trying to get an idea of where to start looking. I play alot of blues, classic rock, and 90's rock.

Seymour Duncan Jazz humbuckers sound pretty sweet...They have a nice fat tone.

A GFS Dream 90 in the neck position sounds really fine!!!

If you want to put a P90 on there, you'll obviously have to re-route the body, just a bit. But it could be an expensive proposition.

Lollar Pickups make an incredible array of pristine Tele neck pickup replacements, which fit into the already-routed design of your guitar.

I think most Tele players have a love/hate relationship with their neck pickups. I replaced the pickups in my stock MiM standard with Tx Specials, and even though I now get a badass 70's loose/gritty sound out of my neck pickup (emulating germanium fuzz regardless of amp), I still crave Strat-bells occasionally. It's rare that one guitar can give an experienced player all that he wants, tonally. [/u]
