I found one, finally. Rated at a 9.5 for $1100 with insured shipping. Pull the trigger or not? Will this be something I regret letting go more than I regret not having $1100?

Is that a fair price? I've been all over the web looking at old comments, reviews and prices. Need your guys advice.

I am not going to be much help as I don't own one, but from what i have seen that is very sweet guitar and $1000 give or take a few bucks one way or the other seems to be the going rate. I would grab it, and HNGD !!

I am back and forth. Beautiful guitar, and a little unique, I like that. I DO want it but am questioning it's abilities. Am I going to be able to get a sound I can't with the original WRHB that are in my '79 Starcaster?

$1,100 seems like a very reasonable price for a Telesonic to me. They aren't a very common Tele.

I think it would be fair to say that the Telesonic is not going to sound like Fender WRHBs, nothing else does really! :D

Ajay

I am just wondering if my WRHB with my OCD, or Soul Bender are gonna give me the sound of the Dearmonds that are in the TSonic. IF so, then I am more hesitant to pick it up.

Firstly, I haven't played my Telesonic in anger in a long time now. So my memory of it's sound would not be something I'd rely on!

Secondly, I think there probably only one way to find out if a guitar is going to sound the way you want (especially if you are being very specific about what you want to hear) and that's to try it out in person. Reason is that you and you alone will know what you are looking for and another person's opinon may lead to disapointment.

Well there lies the problem; the guitar is at a dealer halfway across the US. Is going to be hard to try out due to rarity. Thanks for your time and input.

Most of the guitars I buy are halfway around the world...

So I don't worry too much about how they will sound. If they aren't what I am looking for, I just sell them again (although that only happens rarely  ).

Hi there, would it be possible for someone to describe this model. I'm interested in a tele built with a Fishman piezo and "Twisted" single coil. But I don't know the year or model designation. Thanks....Art
