I just received a new Midnight Wine Telecaster
autographed by the Gin Blossoms, I am still
in shock as I am normally am not as fortunate
as that. The photographs of the guitar with this
finish don't do it justice. It has a deep luster and
a the color of a hearty cabernet. The maple neck
is very comfortable and the frets nicely finished
so it is a breeze to play. The set up seems to
be pretty good to as the intonation seems good.
The pick-ups seem powerful enough for heavy
parts but clean enough for straight rhythm or
picking parts. I really appreciate the "gift" and
want to thank Fender and the Gin Blossoms.
I have been a life long Fender fan, and this
is just one more example of why.
