Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate your help on this, I'm about to bid on this MIM Tele but before I do, I would like to make sure it's authentic.
It's advertised as a MIM Tele, circa 1992. What do you think? I'm looking for a mexican Telecaster for rehearsals and maybe some gigs, but not a main guitar.

Thanks a lot!

It looks legit, and for an 18 year old guitar it looks very unplayed. Not much neck wear or discoloration at all.

Good luck,
John.E

I owned one of these a while back. I modified mine to add in the ferrules and updated bridge.

Once I did that, the guitar was perfect.

I always wonder why I got rid of it

Don't know if it's just the angle the photo is taken at, but that top E string looks very close to the edge of the fretboard. May need to loosen the neck and pull it straight..
