bad, unless you like your guitar horribly out of tune all the time.

You don't need a tremolo on a Tele.

Man I am lusting for an old tele with a Bigsby. I am a glutton for punishment. :-)

they're not bad! I have one and I banged the crap out of the bigsby and it didn't go out of tune! Now I use it more than ever because I locked down my Strat bridge cause the 2 point whammy was bad. Thats what gets it out of tune!

I have a partscaster with a bisgby it stays in tune for the most part. I don't play it as much as I do my lite ash, but when I am playing 50's rock, it is spot on when I need it. It's a little easier to stay in tune and play than my Gretsch 6120W.

the bigsby is a funny think every one wants one and they get it and dont want it anymore. it deffiantly looks cool but i think its all trial and error some bigsby systems work great and others are like haveing a floting bridge with no tuners to lock haha i like it for for a visual effect myself

I have owned several guitars with Bigsby's on them. I had no problems with them. With a proper setup they stay in tune just fine.

What most people don't realize about a Bigsby is that after you use it you have to give it a little nudge in the opposite direction as the one you used it in.
If you pushed down on it after it returns to it's upright position just pull up slightly.

As your post count goes up so does your ranking and the picks light up.
