Hey guys,

I'm new here and figured this would be a great place to get some info.

I have a couple of questions, while searching through some pictures of Teles, I came across a model I have never seen, located in this pic:

http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Josh ... 6DJXxl.jpg

I went ahead and did some searching, and the closest thing I could find was the "Fender Classic Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe", however this doesn't have the same headstock "C" shape, and I can't find that color either.

I've looked all over the internet and I cannot find what model that thing is! Some help would be appreciated.

Also, what is the advantage of a semi-hollow tele? I've really been digging the '69 Thinline that I played at guitar center today. I play a lot of alt rock / punk, and a lot of distortion, but this seemed to make it sound great, what do you guys think?

THanks so much!

:)

It appears to be a thinline with a Deluxe neck.

My guess would be that it is a Custom Shop piece for the artist playing it.

My guess would be Custom Shop as it has a Thinline F-hole semi-hollow body and pickguard of the Custom and Deluxe but has a rosewood fingerboard that's available on the Custom but not the Deluxe but has a Deluxe headstock so it's an amalgam of 3 different Teles.

Location: location, location.
I read an interview with him about his guitar, he says its meant to resemble a lespaul goldtop.
When they played here in june, some girl from the crowd played the solo in misery business on it (if only I had been nearer the front).
I have a sneaking suspicion fender /squier are looking at paramore as potential signature artists.

What it is is a 72 telecaster deluxe that fender made for him with a rosewood board, custom paint job and then it is a fake f-hole. Josh said so in an interview.
