Purchased a power nashville telecaster about a year ago. I love the way the guitar plays and sounds except that any string bending kills the tuning. I would like to replace the stock machine heads with the Fender Deluxe Schaller machine heads but would like to know if these are a direct replacement, or if modifications are necessary?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Yeah I own one too, but the tuners are very good on mine, very smooth. I bend constantly too, but I have very littl eproblem with that. I've heard reviews about this model and everyone who didn't like the tuners just replaced the tuners without any problems, so no mods necesary! Look into it a little more though, just to make sure I'm right.
