Ok, so im new to the forum, but have a question... I'm building a tele from scratch and I'm looking to get an old-school floating tailpiece. anyone know where to find one that kind of looks like a vintage gretsch or gibson? I like the way they look but, I'm looking for one that doesn't have a logo...

Are you thinking of a tailpiece something like this:

If so, NO it will not work on a Tele. There will not be any string break angle between the tailpiece and bridge saddles.
