Just thought Id throw these up here for anyone whos interested.
This is now my favourite guitar and the first time Ive strayed away from a Strat other than my EBMM's.
One piecs Alder body by Marc Rutter from Rutters Guitars, Musikraft neck, TV Jones Classic Plus/Classic p/ups, S1 switching and lots of hours worth of finishing.....

Now you have me inspired to build one! Nice job on the aging/relic, it looks real and isn't over done. How do you like the Musikraft neck?

The Musikraft neck is one of the nicest necks Ive used. Build quality is without fault and the fret work is perfect. First company Ive bought necks from where the setup straight out of the box was 100%. No buzzes or rattles even with the lowest action. I couldnt recomend them highly enough.
As for the relicing, I know its a personal thing and some people just dont get it, but I get a kick out of making something look and feel like its 40 years old. Playability is the main thing, I want my guitars to feel like an old pair of jeans, not a plastic coated cold slab of wood. Hard to do convincingly, but worth the effort when you pull it off.

Glad your experience with Musikraft was the same as mine. Beautiful wood, craftsmanship and perfect fretwork on mine as well.

I am having someone else put the aging on mine since I lack all the tools to do so but I feel better have a pro do it.

Your Tele build looks super man, and I know the TV Jones sound great, I played one today at our local guitar show, real nice tone pouring out of them.. Enjoy!

Thanks for the kind welcomes. Id recommend to anyone , give building one a go. Ive got about $800US in this one and thats with all the best hardware I could buy. Genuine Gretch pickups would save quite a bit and the other hardware could be changed for quite a saving too. Neck could be done quite a bit cheaper too.
