Last night I received a great surprise gift in the form of a Joe Strummer Telecaster. My original thought was to simply hang it on the wall of my home office, but after playing it for the past two nights I'm really enjoying it more to play than a wall decoration! The neck is incredibly smooth and it just has an overall nice feel. In the past I've played a couple JS Teles in the store and they never felt very comfortable, but this one certainly is.

Anyone else have one of these and enjoy playing it?

No, I've never played one. But yours probably just "feels" better because it was a gift. Hehehehe

Just kidding. I wish I could see a pic!

Played one in the guitar shop, really, really liked it. Smooth, fast neck and a cool sound. I also dig the way it looks. Didn't like the worn tuners though...they looked like they would almost break tuning the guitar. I'm with you...much better to play than to hang on a wall.

I own a Strummer Tele. I have never been a fan of reliced guitars but the Strummer felt right and plays and sounds great. Fender nailed 60's Tele tones with it. The Strummer came with an excellent G&G hard shell case, too.

I don't have a single pic of my Strummer but here are a couple of it next to my original '65 Strat. Joe was just a bit rougher on his guitars. :)
