It's kinda cool looking Mike but I'm not sure what I'd use it for, definitely not a pure tele sound.

I LOVE IT, especially with this color (white could have also been cool).

The reversed plate is a great idea. Normal knobs would look cooler - but that's the easiest mod.

Would love to get one after I'll get a good "normal" Tele...

Looks like a Muddy Waters model with humbuckers. I'd would like to at least demo it. I already have three humbucker guitars so it would have to really impress me. I really like the single coil spank I get now. That Grey/Pewter color is nauseating.

I'm debating about buying one. But I don't like the silver. It also comes in black and Cherry Red.

They have a strat in this series too with splittable coils. I like the whole series and it is priced right. I didn't have a lot of time but I fondled one the other day and it seemed like a normal tele. Just a different sound set up obviously. I didn't get to plug it in as I saw it just as they were closing. But I guess it comes in a jazz and jaguar too. I need to go back to that store and plug them in.

I'd go with the regular knurled knobs instead of what's on it.

I think it looks pretty sweet. I like the grey and black combo with the rosewood. I wonder if the humbuckers are alnico 3 or 5? I gotta play one of these sometime soon.

Street price of $449. has got to be getting someone's attention and these do not overlap much at all on any of the existing models so the guys wanting AV52s for lacquer, or Road Worn 60s for their relic'd look will still be buying those.

Even though I like my single coils, I think this is a savvy move on FMIC's part.

Personally I prefer concrete over blacktop, allows the pavement to breathe O_o
Personally I don't like HH guitars as much as I used to, but for $450 you can't really go wrong. As per the looks, those knobs gotsta go, but that's just because they belong on an amp :P I might try one out but I own a 52 Hot Rod so my humbucker needs are covered ^^

Cherry red sounds pretty funky, I don't like the knobs much  But for this kind of money, I won't be complaining 8) I'm assuming they will be available in the UK? I'll be in my local insrument dealer on Thursday, I should be able to find out there. Unless some posters have the information to hand

I don't understand all the hate for the knobs. They look exactly like the ones they put on the Deluxe RI. Or the thinline 72, etc etc. And they look like the same shape as a strat.

I don't mind them at all, but to each his own. I think the chrome ones look kind of bulky and out of place. Isn't it funny how things look differently to different people. Plus, it's just looks, if they work, at some point looks is secondary. Well, maybe. Hehehehe

by the looks of all the pics I have seen I am going to guess it is a poly finish, but I cant confirm that.

It's the functionality...for instance doing volume swells smoothly.
