I was considering buying the Deluxe Nashville Telecaster and was wondering if any one on the forums has purchased it, and, if so, what do think about it? Please let me know whether yours has a maple or a rosewood fretboard.

I got the Nashville POWER Tele online. VERY versitile, and I'll exclude anything about the bridge because the one on the reg Nash Tele isn't a pickup like mine, just a regular barrel style bridge. The three pickups are great and give you plenty of sounds. I love the rosewood fingerboard on mine, compliments the sunburst very well. One thing I absolutely hate about it is the pickguard. Tortoise and sunburst is like mixing wolves with grizzly bears. Very ugly picture. So I changed it to white. Now it looks very Tele-ish, and if you're standing far enough away you can't even tell what that thing in the middle is. The 2nd and 4th position are very good at cancelling hum, but through my marshall amp still makes a little noise. Not enough to worry about, just don't turn lights on when you don't have to and make sure the tone knob is down and you'll be fine. The pickups supply very nice output for even metal, but when tuned up and messed with you can get terrific country sounds. Just a very freaky versitile guitar that's ready for anything. I love mine. 8)

Thanks for the info. I've decided that I'm not going to get this one though. I was in the music store and saw a maple neck standard tele, and after playing it for thirty minutes, I decided I liked it better. I has an awesome sound (in my opinion) and the price is extremely reasonable.
Thanks Anyway. :D

I don't know if you went ahead and bought your Nashville yet but I have a maple neck and it is fabulous. I found that I never used my Strat because the Nashville is so versatile. I ended up trading the Strat in on a gibson because I never used it anymore.

Good for you, still glad I could help you out, though. Have fun with that one.
