both are ln the same price range here ln Canada

l was looking at either the Classic Players 50s or 60s Tele or the Road Worn Tele

has anyone tried the Squier Classic Vibe Teles , l heard they were good for cheap as well

Classic players, I think you get more for your money. I actually like the classic players Tele better than the American Special. I typically like "Relic" or Road Worn guitars, but the Fender Road Worn guitars all look the same and look fake IMO. I'd say go for a classic players baja tele if possible.

true, very true, but after I put that first ding on my old Hwy 1 I have never worried and a ding or scratch on my guitars so long as it was done honestly and not because I carelessly damaged it. It's funny because when I got my first tele the deluxe blackout I remember how I used to baby it and treat it like gold and now here I am not worried about anything cosmetic.
