Hi there.

I will ASSUME you do not own this guitar and are thinking of buying it for the purpose of playing blues.

While any guitar can be made to play blues (I for one have a Wolfgang) some are far better suited for blues them Others.
I think you would be handicapping yourself and would need to modify it to work best.

I think you would be money ahead getting a standard Telecaster or the 1972 with the humbuckers.

It all comes down to the type of blues you are going after.

If say you want a SRV TYPE of tone, in the Telie, the Nashville would get you closer.
If a Albert King TYPE tone then the 72 with the humbuckers.

You might want to put lower output pickups in it.

If what you're looking for is the tone of a semi hollow body - you should go for one. They have a pretty distinctive character in my experience.

If you insist on a Tele, Fender have a few HH Teles in their lineup. In a month or two I think we'll see even more... 8)

You talking about the new Blacktop models? The specs say they will come in black too. Cool!
