I probably sound like a broken record by now but my vote goes for the Custom Shop 2008 Special Edition Limited Release model. These Teles have the best necks EVER! :D

and I do not care for the lack of intonation with the three brass barrels.

this problem can be solved by switching to Glendale In-Tone cutting edge compensated saddles, no more intonation issues whatsoever.

This was the Telecaster of my dreams, or so I thought. I went in to Glasgow to buy one last October, I walked out with a Tele deluxe. Go figure eh? I'll still get a 52, of that I'm sure. Just perhaps not brand new, I've seen a few used 52's in fantastic condition, watch this space

I've got Epi Casino, Washburn Hawk, teardrop Alston, LX90 Honner... all sound good but my favorite is my '52 telecaster AVRI, butterscott, mapple neck, sounding clear precise, fingers drift on the neck like a shadow ...

I love my AVRI 52 Tele, but I admit I swapped out the pickups for Fender 51 Nocasters, which gave the Tele a richer, thicker sound. A great guitar! :D

The Tele'52 RI is a fantastic piece of work, I hardly touch my standard anymore the sound is exactly what I remember in those days of distant past. Thank you Fender :D

I had one and ended up selling it when I was in the need for cash. I have regretted it ever since. I have two Teles now a Partscaster Nashville Tele and a Lite Ash Tele with a SCN upgrade and S-1 switches. I finally decided I needed to get another 52 and it is coming on the 20th! I can't wait, I just hope the other two aren't going to get jealous if they stay in their cases.
