I wasn't talking about the cost involved BCB, more the know how. I admire the sacrifice made by your goodself though, I have a feeling it's going to be worth it. Who knows, I might learn something from your's and Kong's build threads. I'm looking forward to both, good luck.

oh well, really it is just a matter of figuring out all the parts you'll need, the specs you want for the neck and body and going from there. You can find a list of all the parts needed online somewhere or I could send you the spreadsheet i made to keep track of my project.

You're a real gent BCB, but when I say "know how" it's a lot more than just knowing what I would need. I worked in an office all my days, I have never been good with my hands (apart from battering a keyboard), I failed woodwork at high school, as well as metalwork :( I love to watch these build threads, but just wish I was capable. It won't stop me enjoying following the two on here though, enjoy yourself too

Did you plan to add a Strat-style bevelled tummy cut on the body in the future or you prefer leaving the body slab?

+1 It's the simple design and features that make it special.

BCB looking forward to seeing this one come together. All of your parts look top notch, but that neck looks stunning!

ABS and Kong, you know I figured if I was even going to tackle a project like this it made sense not to cut any corners and to make it the best I can. After all, this one is going to be my keeper and I mean that 100%.

I preferred the 48 bridge pick up to the 60 bridge pick up because to my ears, the 60 had a little too much treble for my taste than the 48.

All of this is just my opinion based on the styles I like/play.

I like both the 60's set and the broadcasters! haha you've probably see by now that I am the forum spokesperson for the Broadcaster set. My friend had a 1982 AVRI 52' Tele with them in it and I had never heard tone like that before. I had to have them.

Man that is gonna be one nice Tele. I love everything you chose! Can't wait to see it all together in the end.

By the way I have a black cat and I think they are the coolest cats haha.
