BCB,
Well, you talked me into modding my HWY 1 well...just changing the pick guard to Black. It arrived today but the neck pup hole is a tad bit small. Did yo run into this and how did you make it fit right??

ABS, I don't think I had that issue with mine, but I will check with my luthier for you and see if he had to make any adjustments to the guard. He did all my mods for me. Let me see what he says and I will get back to you asap. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out!

BCB,
You are the man!! I am going to try one of my small 1/2" drum sander wheels from my dremmel to see....but only after you tell me what your luthier says! As always you are a gentleman and a HWYman!!

It's finally started - ABS is gonna mod one of his "perfect from the factory" Fender guitars...

Sittin' around with too much time on his hands, waiting for his shoulder to heal, got him to thinking...

What out Brother - once you start, there's no turning back. 1st it's a pickguard, then the tuners, and pups...

Pretty soon you'll be like BCB and building your own!

Hey ABS, I talked to my buddy today and he said that he didnt have to make any adjustments to the guard on mine but he thought your idea of taking the small sander wheel to it should be your best bet.

I sold my HWY 1 today btw, so tomorrow morning I am sending out my body, neck and parts to get them finished for my Dreamcaster project

Hey ABS. Try these people. I've bought some guards from them before and all was right. Good luck!

I bought it from a random ebay seller, it was a fender licensed part. the WD pickguards company that is linked above, they are a very good company to get a guard from. I got my 1 ply for my project from them.
