I have a friend that has a white Telecaster left to him by his deceased brother. The serial # MN413581. He would like to know the history and value of this guitar. It is like new condition.

He also has another red model that has this serial # 05053646 and says made in Korea. Any info on this model would be appreciated also.

Also, he want to know where he can buy the cover that fits over the strings that most guitarists take off when they buy the guitar. He claims most people take them off and use them as ash trays. Thanks again.

I'm not a guitarist, as you might can tell, but I'm trying to help him out. He is in his 70's and has no clue to what he has on his hands and is trying to find out the history and value of these guitars.

Actually the "ash tray" covers only fit the vintage-style Tele bridge. It appears this is a Standard Tele so that cover won't fit on the "modern" style bridge used on them.

Ya I don't know of a cover for the "top loader", that's is kind of an oddball MIM deal up to later '96 (then string through).

Give me dimensions (mm) of your bridge, with that I can compare with my '52 RI to know if the cover fit.
