I just bought a Tele with Seymore Duncan pickups. It was a spur of the moment thing that was now or never. I got it home an just can't seem to find anything out about it. All I know is it was made in Korea. The serila # is 03081589. It is silver with raceing stripes. I guess the Fender logo got me. IDK was I had or not?

Seems like I recall some MIK Tele-shaped Fenders with racing stripes from 5-6 years ago. The ones I'm thinking of were either set neck or neck-through guitars. Fender used to do a lot of "one-year-only" MIK guitars so sometimes it is hard to find info on them.

Hi. Welcome.
Please post pics of the guitar, especially the front of the heastock.

Telling us the serial number doesn't help us at all since it can be faked too. And except for special models, the serial # doesn't tell you what model it is or any other specific info. Although I don't see your 030XXXXX serial number sequence here: http://www.fender.com/support/odd_serial_numbers.php hmmm...Email Fender customer service with the serial number and they can tell you the model name, where it was made, and when it was made. Or just post some pics to help us along.

p.s. My opinion is it's rare that someone would fake a Korean made Fender. It would cost more to fake all of the details than scammers would be able to sell the guitar for. Fakers usually try to replicate US made and Custom Shop Fenders. More bang for the buck that way. grrrr...fakers make me mad

Those are the ones I was thinking of; I was thinking they were Esquires but I really wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for posting the photos.
