I just traded an amp for this tele. It's gorgeous. the case candy shows a tag that reads - "2007-09 FSR VINT '62 Tele CSTM 2TS"

The hang tag also reads "Serial Number LE00092"

The neck plate reads "LE01138"

The back of the headstock reads: Serial Number: Z8172430

Here's a couple photos....

Location: In a house....unless I'm at work....then I'm in a shop.
Found this on the Fender products page.......

"Z"-prefix serial numbers denoting the new millennium appeared on U.S.-made instruments in 2000. Z0 denotes 2000; Z1 denotes 2001, etc. American Deluxe Series instruments use the same dating convention, but with the addition of a "D" in front of the "Z", i.e., DZ1, DZ2, etc. As always, there is typically some number prefix overlap and carryover from year to year.

So if what I read here is correct, you have a 2008 made Telie thin line.

I would 650.00-750.00 for a value.

I'm confused. That's surely not a '62 Custom 2-tone sunburst (2TS), nor does the hang tag match the serial number on the guitar.

It's quite possibly a MIA 2008-ish FSR Thinline - and the guitar looks like a genuine Fender - but I think it's either in the wrong case or has the wrong case candy.

Hi surrealmccoy,
curious curious curious!!! Well, here's my take....its not a 62 Cstm because its not a RW neck and its not a bound body for starters. So what it is, from what I can see ...and trace by neck serial....is FSR American VIntage 68 Telecaster Thinline. Model 017-0093-821. The neckplate is indeed for a 62 custom...and the hang tag serial doesnt trace at all...so ya got me what happened on all that. I'm not sure if that helps or confuses in my case. I have one of these from Dave's. These specs are different than what Wildwood site shows, Dave's doesn't show much.

Mine made in 2010 is supposed to have 9.5 radius neck and the neck is indeed different than my 52 AVRI. Wildwood says Nocaster pickups.

There's no serial number or Made in USA on my guitar but serial # and Fender production info and tags in case.

Wildwood says 6105 frets which I thought were larger than vintage. Mine has frets that seem much like my 52 style. Unlike the 52 AVRI my neck seems flatter and not as rolled at the edges.

It's a wonderful guitar regardless. I see a few of these are still available.

Headstocks look same:
