I need some reference pictures. Does anyone have photos of a MIM Telecaster from around 90/91?
Especially of the neck cavity, back of neck, logo and electronics etc.
Also is the serial MN1+6 valid and a 1991 model or is it something else?

A schematic would be nice as well but that is not so important as the pics.
(its for a restoration)

Thanks

I don't own one so I can't help with the pictures but, the serial sounds correct for that year.

Serial number is accurate for that year.

MIM Standard bodies haven't changed much since '98 when string-through-body bridges were introduced.

A '91 MIM Standard will be routed for a humbucker in the neck position under the fingerboard. A single-coil neck pickup will be mounted to the pickguard on an 8-hole, 3-ply pickguard (w/b/b). There will be three small holes somewhere around a half-inch to an inch in diameter and maybe 1/4" deep under the pickguard on the top horn.

The biggest difference in the older MIM Standards is the bridge - it's a top-loading bridge that doesn't have side edges like a vintage-style 3-saddle bridge. The six saddles are barrels, not blocks. The bridge mounts to the body with three screws.
