You are very welcome.

It is a nice option and most of the folks that do it are happy they did !!

Well worth it for sure. The fat tone is kind of nice when you play a little dirty (distortion) through the amp, and noise canceling as well.

Coveyisle,

Out of curiosity, where did you get your new Telecaster and how long did you have to wait? I ordered a 2010 Am. Deluxe Telecaster back in May and still haven't received it. Any additional thoughts about your new beauty would be much appreciated! Please post pics!

Yeah, my issue with a telecastor is they can sound kind of twangy. Which I don't want. It's what has stopped me from picking one up right away. Because I like the way they play, and 15 years ago it was my main axe when I was in bands. I was a rhythm guitarist and singer. I never played the bridge pick up. EVER. I should've experimented with the tone knob more. But this S-1 option may make a regular ole tele more agreeable to me.

I still have my eye on the Blacktop model though and want to run that through an amp. It would be nice to hear both in the same session.

thanks for the reply. I saw the pdf, but my problem still remains. My tele have a toggle switch and not a 3 way switch. I think the pictures will be clear.

I saw the diagram from la cabronita, but the guitar have only the s1 (no tone).

I appreciate all the help.

al_berto,
I really think the best (easy) thing for you is to buy a 4 way switch and replace the old one you have.

You will have to do a mod to your neck pickup too, adding a ground wire for the cover (shield)

thanks, sjtalon, for the suggestion. But I think it is not possible. First, because I will not make any major changes on the guitar. Second, because now I have the S1. I know it's possible to make the change with the toggle switch. La cabronita says yes. When I got the S1 was not expecting much complication. Well, I'll wait. It may be that it appears that someone with sufficient knowledge to enlighten me how to make the change. Hug.
