Today I was let off of work early and went home and plugged in my Tele into my little Champion 600 to practice some scales for an hour or so. Well, I am still amazed at how sweet the tone of my Tele is. It was just one of those sessions where you grow an even greater appreciation for this wonderful instrument. Anyone else have days like this??
ABS :D

Guess what's sitting three feet away from me?

My little Champ 600 and my Esquire.

Yup. Plenty sweet! :D

I know you are all going to think I made this up, but yesterday, after I dropped the kids off for a sleep-over and before my wife got home from work, I went out on the back deck and plugged in my Epiphone Elitist Casino to my Champion 600 and man, what sweetness. That's a great little amp.

I'll keep that in mind guys, I'm looking for a decent small tube amp. I had the Epi Valve Jr with no mods years ago but got rid of it. Anyone knows how they compare? I found the Epi too dark and the overdrive was very "grainy". : /

I've got bot the Champ 600 and the Epi Valve Jr, the Epi has way more drive than the Champ. And way more volume. Way more. I bring my champ with me to my guitar lesson and it's great for me to sit and jam with my instructor. The epi valve jr. is great when i want to jam with my friend and i need more gain.

I love the sound of my 04 MIM Tele through any amp.It sounds great through my Blues Jr.,66 Traynor Guitar Mate,or Vox but it just shines through a JCM 800-pure ambrosia for the ears.
