I have a MIM Esquire that is just plain amazing. Who would think that you can get so much fun from just one pickup? 8)

Great Rock guitar in my view!

I switched out the pup for a SCN. It sounds so warm in the middle position. I love the way it feel sin my hands and how nice it sounds. I play a lot in rooms with flourescent lights...Helps keeps the buzz down.

Position 1 - Bridge Pickup without tone control
Position 2 - Bridge Pickup with tone control
Position 3 - Bridge Pickup with "darker" tone circuit control

Here is mine, an 1985 '54 Reissue MIJ. Great guitar, played the heck out of it for several years. Play it almost exclusively in the lead position...great for cutting through on lead with a loud drummer!

It doesn't, all Esquires use a Tele body (routed for the rhythm pickup).
