Does anyone know if the 1983 Telecaster came stock with a seymore duncan humbucker (two single coils exposed) in the bridge pickup? And what's the name of these saddles?

I don't think so.
First of all, is this Seymour Duncan pickup exist in 1983 ?

If your pickup have serial number, you could ask to Seymour Duncan.
Look under the pickup.

No. The 1983 Standard Tele was shipped with stock Fender pickups.

The bridge looks like a Freeflyte unit.

IMHO, someone had replaced the stock Fender bridge pickup with a SD JB Junior.

It's a original '83 bridge. I own a '83 Telecaster too and it have this bridge.

IMO the bridge pu was not the original.

Thank you for all of your responses. this is for sale on ebay and i was thinking of buying it. I have seen two '83 tele's with this same SD pu and i thought that maybe some of them were shipped with that pu.

It also look like it has been refinished and sanded down to look worn out Any thoughts on that?

On dirait que l'ancien propriétaire de cette guitare a remplacé le micro d'origine par un humbucker Seymour Duncan JB Junior.

(Translation)

It appears that the previous owner has changed the stock Fender pickup with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr.

Yes those CBS area Tele was top loading strings, like mine.

My Telecaster (1983) have a very big neck. I have a friend who play only Gibson and my Tele neck is the first fender neck he like.

And this Tele have a very good tone. I play with before I buy. Ad I love it. I have a '52 reissue too

You can't play with guitar on E-bay before . Be careful
