I'm going back and forth between .009's and .010's. I've been playing more E flat tunings and the 9's are cool but the 10's stay in tune just a bit better. I play mostly alt/rock/metal type stuff. Just wondered what you guys are using. I'm playing Jim Root Teles with EMG 81/60's. 8)

I really did 11s for a guitar tuned to Eb.

I generally stick with Ernie Ball gauges

2215 - Skinny Top Heavy Bottom 10, 13, 17, 30, 42, 52

Depends on the guitar. Mostly 9's or 10's with 46's or 48's

I use D'Addario's as well. Ernie Balls are about the same but the feel of the D'Addario's are a tad nicer to my touch anyway.

im using 11's on my tele.
i like them. the tone is fatter,
and the sustain seems better than
with the 9's it came with.

When I bought each of my guitars, I took off the stock 9's and replaced them with Dean Markley Blue Steel 10's. Love the feel, love the sound.
