I just bought this Relic No Caster from Guitar Center this past Saturday for a great price with the 2 cases. I just fell in love with the guitar, even though I was thinking of getting the NOS that is below $1,600 right now at the Nashville store. The sales guys told me that once in awhile, the store will lower a guitar to a blow out price for no reason. So if you are in the market for one of the Nocaster NOS get this guitar before it goes out the door. I tried it out and is sounded and played great. I just had to have the relic, because I liked the finish on the neck. As for Chad at the Nashville GC. He is the guy who always waits on me and gives me great customer service every time I walk into that store. The certificate was with the guitar and the serial number matched the guitar to the certificate. I have heard horror stories about miss matched or missing certificates, but I had no problem what so ever. Let me know if anyone on this board buys the NOS Nocaster. Lately I have been on a heavy Fender kick and I must have gotten 3 custom shops this year alone. Glad I am not married or have kids, just a little dog that is my best friend. Rock on and Merry Christmas to everyone! :D

Very nice score! Gotta post some pictures so I can admire your new baby. I am married with 4 sons, 3 dogs, and a cat so custom shop purchases are few and far between for me. But when I score that okay from my lovely wife a relic nocaster is first on my list.

I don't have a digital camera, just the 35mm. Which I will never part with. I will take some pictures after Christmas and have them put on a disk.
You need to go to Guitar Center because they are having a blow out on the NOS Nocasters. :D

Since I have posted about getting the relic Nocaster here at the Guitar Center in Nashville. My sales guy Chad has had several callers inquiring about the blow out deal on the NOS Nocaster. He sold it yesterday from someone on a different board that I had posted on and other Guitar Centers are receiving calls about purchasing that guitar. That is so cool that there is a serge on getting the NOS. Fender did a great job on making this guitar and I am happy to spread the word. I can't wait to be at Namm next month to see what Fender will have out in 2008.
