Thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2004 MIM standard Telecaster. I am hoping it has an alder body and medium jumbo frets. The seller listed the specs to the new Teles under info so I wanted to double check before I bid. Thank you for any help.

It would have the alder body, but no on the UPGRADE which was '06.

UPGRADE:
Fender Standard Gig bag

New pickups 2 Hot Standard Tele® Re-voiced, hotter Tele pickups (neck & bridge)

medium jumbo frets

shielded body cavities

"Two new Standard Tele single-coil pickups
The original Tele pickups had more twang than any two "normal" guitars, thanks to the single coil pickups in the bridge and neck positions. Today's Standard Tele has pickups that pretty much look the same, but are voiced hotter, so it's much easier to drive most amps into various levels of distortion, from mild to manic. "

The neck was also untinted in those times, so looks whiter than today's. The rest of changes were pointed by sjtalon.

Thanks for the help guys. I've been leaning toward some country/ blues jams recently and figured it was time to add a Telecaster to the line up. I'm planning to do some mods eventually and sounds like some hotter pups might not be a bad idea.

It looks legit, but figured I should post the # and let the experts tell for sure:
MZ4078291
Limited edition blue flake finish, maple fretboard.

Please give me a heads up if there are any red flags. Thanks again.
