Hi. Recently my Tele was never out of tune or when it was it would go sharper in all strings at same time. Now I've changed from 0.9 -> 42 to

Ernie Ball's Hybrid Slinky 2222 09 / 11 / 16 / 26w / 36w / 46w

to get more bassy punch.

But now besides that it's won't tune properly and it's going out of tune in every string all the time.

I installed the strings correctly and stretch them one by one. What could be wrong? Tkx

I'll guess it's because the nut slots aren't large enough for the bigger strings, so the strings are binding in the slots. I recommend taking it to a professional guitar tech and having him check and adjust your nut for the larger gauge strings. Your saddles probably need to be adjusted for intonation as well.

Pull (pluck) on the strings and do some streching on each. I changed from standard 9s to 10s and mine stays in tune. It will slighly effect your intonation on the different string diameters. But really what you did is as minimal of a change that can be done.

When you make string size changes you need to a have luthier set up the guitrar for you. The nut may have to be modified.

When I had a guitar built, the luthier asked me to bring strings with me.

Yes you could need a little job on the nut.

But also trust rod ajustment ; More tension on the neck with big strings.

And you need intonation ajust ; saddle adjustments.
