I have an original '52 Tele that was given to me by my Dad back in the 60's. It is in the original case. Dad was in the army with the guy that owned the guitar, he played lead for Ray Price and Jim Reeves, owed Dad
money, so he just gave him the guitar. It has a great history and plays easier than any of the others I have. I just need to know who to get in touch with to check how much to insure it for.
Thanks,
JC[/i]

I've heard of Gruenn Guitars in Nashville, or
Fender itself.
The guitar is in very good shape.
Thanks for the feedback.

Play loud

You could check out the "Guitar Blue Book." It will have inforamtino about judging the value of the guitar as well value in $.

Be honest when peronally apprasing. I would go to a vintage dealer.

Also when you get your insurence remember there are two types:
Insurence that's what items is worth and insurence to actually replace the item.
