The radius its very easy to get use to it once you change the frets to 6105 because vintage frets are a bit dodgy with this kind of radius. I changed my frets and now the 52 its the easiest guitar to play on. Also once you change the frets you will notice a reduction on the string tension. Also dont ever change the pickups , i tried , but the stock pickups are great . Cheers.

A good friend of mine got out of the music business a year or so ago and I sold his 1982 52 RI made in Fullerton Ca for him. First year of reissue and man was it sweet. He was the first owner and it was naturally aged and reliced and just played so smooth. I regret to this day selling that guitar especially when I look at the pics of it.

The '52 AVRI Telecaster is a wonderful guitar. This is what a Fender is supposed to feel like. The 7.25" radius is great. If you can't play on a 7.25" radius neck, dip your fingers in a bowl of Wheaties and try again. This is not a guitar for saturday afternoon GC shred-monkeys. It's a real guitar. I would be proud to own one.

I couldn't agree more! I've owned several mim Teles and my 52 blows the others away. It has become my fav guitar and I've grown quite fond of the neck radius. It simply is just a beautiful guitar to play and look at.
